A historic milestone was celebrated as Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University (LCOOU) officially opened its first student housing dormitory. The ceremony, held on Friday, August 22, took place adjacent to the university’s farm.
A New Chapter for Students and Community.
The event featured opening remarks, a ribbon-cutting, self-guided tours of the new dormitory facility, and a complimentary lunch shared among attendees. It signaled not merely the completion of a building, but the beginning of a new era for LCOOU students and the broader Ojibwe community.
Jason Bisonette, Chairman of the LCOOU Board of Regents, reflected on the achievement: “Students at LCO can start their education beginning from the age of 3 and continue all the way to a master's degree on Tribal land. That is something the community can be proud of.”
Interim President Karen Breit added, “This new chapter for LCOOU is possible because of all those who have come before us who had the vision and dream of achieving educational success for our community. I am honored to be a part of that mission.”
LCO Tribal Governing Board Chairman Gary Clause offered a message of unity: “We will continue to support our community. We need to remember who we are and where we come from. By working together, we can achieve greatness.”
Designed with Student Comfort and Success in Mind.

Choosing between affordable vs premium online class help depends on what you value most: cost savings or higher quality and additional features. Affordable options can be great for basic support and simple assignments, but premium services tend to offer deeper research, extra revisions, verified formatting, and better support. It’s smart to compare deliverables—not just price. Read reviews, check samples, and understand what each level includes. When deciding between affordable vs premium online class help, aim for a balance that delivers good quality without stretching your budget unnecessarily.
