The Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO) Housing Authority hosted its 27th Annual Fire and Safety Fair on Saturday, August 2, bringing together nearly 100 community members for a day filled with fun, food, and life-saving education.
Held each year this event raises awareness about home and community safety, the fair featured a variety of hands-on activities, including fire truck rides, bicycle safety training, a dunk tank, tie-dyed T-shirts, door prizes, and a picnic lunch for all in attendance.
One of the events highlighted was the Fire Safety Poster Contest, sponsored by Amerind. Local youth submitted creative and educational artwork promoting fire safety, with winners announced in three age groups:
Grades K–3: Josh Martin
Grades 4–6: Brentley Quagon
Grades 7–8: Angelo Perry
A special appearance was made by Sparky, the Fire Dog. He is the official mascot of the National Fire Protection Association. The children were excited to meet him.
LCO Tribal Police Chief Susie J. Taylor led a bicycle safety training session, reaching over 50 youth with important lessons on riding safely. As a reward, a drawing was held for those who completed the training—Migizi Taylor and Micah Cooper each won a brand-new bicycle and safety helmet.
LCO Fire Chief Ryan Bunker Jr. was on site offering exciting fire truck rides, while Bass Lake Fire Chief Chris Headley stopped by to show his support and join in the festivities.
“This event is a fun way to educate our youth about how to be safe in their homes and communities,” said LCO Housing Authority Director Marcy Gouge. “The literature and door prizes are geared toward safety.”

I spent some time reading through reviews of BuyOnlineClass.com and found a range of feedback. On the positive side, many students appreciate rapid delivery, polished outputs, and constant communication. That suggests the team tries to meet client needs under tight deadlines. On the flip side, some reviews flag issues like inconsistent quality, citation lapses, or project revisions. These mixed opinions underline the need to clarify details before ordering—ask for samples, set expectations, and review refund policies. These reviews of BuyOnlineClass.com offer useful guardrails for anyone considering using their services.
