LCO Ojibwe School Girls Relay Team Wins 4X100 Northern Lights Conference Championship

On May 19, 2025, the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School (LCOOS) hosted the Norhtern Lights Conference Championship Track Meet for the first time in Ashland, WI.
“Our Athletic Director (AD) Dion Doyle and Assistant AD Noah LeBlanc did a tremendous job planning and coordinating the meet. Thanks to our phenomenal coaches Katie Hecker, Cody Carley, Jason Bisonette, and Zach Rajala, our athletes are seeing more and more success,” said Superintendent Jessica Hutchison.
The Girls 4x100 relay team seized the title of Conference Champions. Congratulations to Blaire Dishaw, Day Quagon, Peyton Corbine, and Aaliyah Alexander!

4x200 relay - 2nd place Lily Hamilton, Blaire Dishaw, Day Quagon, Peyton Corbine
100-meter dash - 3rd place and NEW SCHOOL RECORD Day Quagon
200-meter dash - 6th place Peyton Corbine
200-meter dash - 7th place Blaire Dishaw
High Jump - 6th place Lily Hamilton
Triple Jump - 5th place Brenna Bruguier
