Acceptance Forms Released for Election Candidates

Editor's Note: The Caucus was held Saturday, April 5, and attached below are images and PDF of the acceptance and the release of background check forms for candidates to turn in to Caroline Yellowthunder at the Tribal Office.


Thirty-two (32) tribal members were nominated during the caucus. In accordance with election procedures, the nominees’ names were placed in a bowl and randomly drawn to determine the order in which they will appear on the 2025 Primary Election Ballot. Nominees have three (3) business days to accept their nominations and complete all required paperwork. The deadline to accept is Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. CST.


The official primary ballot order is as follows: Dulcie Wolf, Marcy Gouge, Sirella Ford, David Fleming, Thomas A. Isham, Don Carley, Jeff Tribble, Lynette Tribble, Doreen Wolfe, Mike Denasha, Louis Taylor, Mike Tainter, Terrance Manuelito, Billie Jo Taylor, Adam Denasha, Daylene Sharlow- Gokey, Jason Martin, Robert Sharlow, Valerie Hugo, Aaron Debrot, John Baker, David Scott Bisonette, James Schlender Jr., Tweed Shuman, Danielle Grover, John “Randy” Cadotte, Lorraine Gouge, Janet Quaderer, Jordan St. Germaine, Jeff Crone, Doreen Debrot, and Ryan Bunker Jr.


In addition to Board nominations, Election Committee nominations and voting were conducted during the caucus. With three seats open, the following individuals received the highest number of votes and will be seated on the Election Committee: Julie Taylor, Delores Belille, and Mary Tribble. The next two top vote-getters will serve as alternates in the event of a vacancy: Cindy Taylor and Patsy Crone.

 

Observer positions for the 2025 LCO Tribal Elections were also filled. The following individuals were elected to serve as official Observers: Kelly Nayquonabe, Flo Thayer, Jennifer Cadotte, Cindy Taylor. Alternates for Observer positions are Julie Snow and Patsy Crone.
