The Pioneer Village Museum in Cameron, Wis is looking for Native American participants in their annual Native American Heritage Days scheduled for June 17. According to the museum director, Tammy Schutz, they are looking for speakers/storytellers, drummers and dancers and Native arts and crafters.

Schutz said they are seeking any and all Native American participation but would really like to see as much participation from the local tribes of Lac Courte Oreilles and St. Croix since this area is home to those Tribes.

Arts and crafters are wanted to demonstrate and/or sell their artwork at the event and there is no charge for set up.

Schutz said a small fee would be paid for a drum circle and also for dancers.

Because this event is a celebration of Native life and intended to be an educational event, they are looking for storytellers, entertainers and speakers to share about the culture with the public.

Please contact Tammy at 715-458-2080 or visit pioneervillagemuseum.org for more information or to find out how you can participate.
