Co-Chairs of the Honor The Earth Committee, Cathy Begay and Bonnie Corbine, have announced a virtual powwow and celebration is being planned for this year's Honor the Earth and that more information on the event will be announced soon.
In the meantime, the committee is now accepting nominations for 2020 Anishinaabekwe. Must be at least 62 years old, a LCO Tribal member and must not have been Anishinaabekwe before. Nominations should be sent to lcoartsandculture@yahoo.com. The deadline is June 22, 2020.
