For the entire month of April, Dr. Steve Miskiewicz, Medical Director at the Lac Courte Oreilles Community Health Center, reports there has not been a single case of Covid, Flu or RSV cases.
“There have been a few cases of a common cold or strep throat,” Dr. Steve stated in a report to the LCO Tribal Governing Board (TGB). “It has been over three years since I have had the pleasure of reporting news like this! I want to thank each and every one of you for your support and especially thank the staff at LCOCHC for their tireless dedication in fighting the pandemic of our lifetime’s. In addition, the help and cooperation with Sawyer County Public Health.”
