Three New Staff Welcomed at LCO Ojibwe School

The LCO Ojibwe School welcomes three new members to their staff.


K-12 Principal: Brad Cody will be joining the team as the K-12 Principal which will be a new full time position for the 2021-2022 School Year. Mr Cody brings more than two decades of elementary educational experience back to Lac Courte Oreilles and is also a tribal member who possesses full educational administration certification. Mr. Cody is familiar with the students and community of Lac Courte Oreilles, having spent the early part of his career as a teacher at LCO and more recently working as a referee for Migiziwag Athletics.


Facility Director: Jason Weaver will be taking the reins of running the building and grounds from the long time Facility Director Edwin Carley, who is resigning this summer. Mr. Weaver brings a vast knowledge of construction trades, utilities, and infrastructure, as well as experience as a project manager on recent tribal construction. From his time spent as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Lac Courte Oreilles tribe, Mr Weaver brings a familiarity with the school and its needs to the position.


Health Navigator: Nicole Pulskamp is joining the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School as its first Health Navigator, a new position designed to coordinate that many local and community health supports for students of Lac Courte Oreilles. Mrs. Pulskamp brings 20 years of experience as a clinical assistant in the Essentia Health system.
