Thank You Letter for Cash or Cans Food Drive

Dear Editor,

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our community for the very generous support and donations of over $1,095.00 and over 246 pounds of food for Winter Harvest of Friends Food Pantry, Circle Free Store, and Hayward Community Food Shelf. All this was directly collected and delivered as part of “Cash or Cans: Drive-through Food Drive” project on October 9, organized by the Democratic Party of Sawyer County and LCO with on-site assistance from Hayward Community Food Shelf volunteers in Hayward. This large collection in just two hours shows that our community cares for each other.

And, if you missed us at our three locations, you can support others by donating directly to Sawyer County Senior Resource Center-Meals On Wheels Program, Hayward Community Food Shelf, Winter Harvest of Friends Food Pantry, Circle Free Store, and/or other food shelves that serve your neighbors.

Thank you,

Democratic Party of Sawyer County and LCO
