Information of the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribe
The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board at its July 15 weekly meeting voted to approve changes to the tribe’s drug testing policy.
LCO Secretary-Treasurer Michelle Beaudin said the new council voted to drop marijuana (THC) from the testing all-together. She also said the tribe would no longer conduct random tests. The only drug testing would be done of new hires and “for cause.”
This new policy is tribal wide and will include all tribal entities.
