TGB Approves Eligible LCO Minors to Enroll Before September 8th

The Lac Courte Oreilles Emergency Relief Assistance to Tribal members CARES Act Program has received approval from the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board to open up a timeframe from August 7, 2020 through September 8th, 2020 for all eligible LCO minors 17 years and younger, born before June 1st, 2020, to go through the Enrollment process.

Each family is responsible to turn in their enrollment applications, birth certificates, family trees, in order to get the enrollment process started and then be eligible for CARES Act Emergency Relief funds of $500.00 through their parent, legal custodians or legal guardians. A copy of his/her Tribal ID, Tribal ID number or Enrollment certificate is required with the verification form. Please also include documentation of primary physical custody, guardianship or other placement of the minor child(ren) if this is applies to your situation. Each enrolled minor must have their own separate verification form filled out by a parent, legal custodian or legal guardian by September 8th, 2020. All eligible enrolled minor checks will be disbursed through the mail due to COVID-19. Therefore, it is important to submit complete and accurate information on the verification form (correct enrollment number, address, signature, phone number, relief needs, etc.).
