StrongHearts Native Helpline Announces New Positions

StongHearts Native Helpline

Press Release

StrongHearts Native Helpline is hiring two key positions Deputy Executive Officer and Quality Assurance Manager as part of recently awarded grants from the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Victims of Crime and the Department of Health and Human Services.

The goal is to enhance or expand the capacity and infrastructure of StrongHearts to provide support and advocacy using a culturally appropriate, trauma-informed and survivor-centered approach with a layer of safety and sovereignty as a confidential and anonymous helpline.

“We are growing and excited for what the future holds,” said CEO Lori Jump, StrongHearts Native Helpline. “These new positions will enhance the training curriculum for our advocates and develop an improvement plan that comes with assessing our work as trailblazers. As the first national helpline designed by and for Native Americans we intend to provide our advocates with the tools needed to ensure their continued success and sustain our work for years to come.”

As a fully remote organization, these jobs are offered nationwide. As a culturally appropriate helpline for Native Americans and Alaska Natives, applicants must have experience working with Native communities and an understanding of Tribal culture and tradition.
