A new Chief Executive Officer, Scott Solie, has been hired at LCO Financial Services under a 3-year contract with the idea of mentoring a tribal member during that time. Solie comes to LCO with 30 years of banking experience.

Lee Harden, who has been the CEO, will continue with LCO Financial Services as the Chief Operations Officer.

LCO Tribal Governing Board (TGB) member and Chairman of the LCO FS Board of Directors, Tweed Shuman said, “With all of his years of banking experience, we asked him to look at our credit union. We need to open up the membership of the credit union to non-Tribal and anyone in the community.”

Lee Harden said he is excited about the additional revenue opportunities available as a full service bank.. One idea discussed was to expand the bank into the C2 location next to Koobie’s and opening up services for mortgage loans, auto loans and business loans.

Shuman said they have asked Solie to take on an advisory role at the credit union to make an expansion happen. We’re one of the few tribes with a credit union so we are in a good position.

In regards to the LCO Financial Services, Shuman said morale is up and the operation is moving forward.
