LCO Federal Credit Union Gives Membership Report

Editor's Note: The following was provided to the Membership at the General Membership Meeting in January.

Past Few Years: Management and staff have worked diligently to bringing our Credit Union into a much better position. We were in dire need of assistance from the NCUA (National Credit Union Association) through their examinations. With an 'eye-opening' Document of Resolution process between the NCUA and the Credit Union Board of Directors, the Board went to work to find new management and began the corrections needed. We've come a long way! Through much needed training and policy updates, management and staff have a definite TEAM bond that has brought our Credit Union into a much better position with compliance and on our way to more growth.

Our Lac Courte Oreilles communities are to be commended for their faith and support of our Credit Union. Also, Chi Miigwech to our Tribal Government for the financial support throughout these years.

As of September 30, 3023:

•            Total Liabilities and Equity  $2,568,485.64

•            Members of LCUFCU             1,269

Services & Benefits: The Credit Union offers shared checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, and CDs. We are a small Credit Union where everyone knows each other. Join the Credit Union where our employees value our members and know each of you.

Community Support: This winter, our Credit Union was involved in "Credit Union Days". We collected hats, gloves, jackets, and snow pants for local members in need. We did a toy drive in November "Christmas for Kids". We were able to help many families in need.

Future Goals: We will be offering car loans very soon. We will let the community know when this starts. We are hoping to have debit cards in late spring/summer for our members to access their funds after hours. With the issuance of debit cards our members will also have access to online account services, transaction history, and account balances.

The Credit Union website is user friendly and has applications online for opening accounts to loans. Simply print the application(s) and drop off, www.lcofcu.com.
