LCO Elder Program Recipient of Another $7,777 Sevenwinds Donation

The Sevenwinds Casino made a fourth donation of $7,777 to a Tribal Program, the LCO Elder Center, in the spirt of giving for Christmas. They previously donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Lac Courte Oreilles, the LCO Daycare Center and the LCO Toys for Teens and Tots.

The LCO Aging & Disability Services Department Interim Director, Rosalie Gokee, said the program is very happy to be on the Sevenwinds Casino “Nice List.”

"I plan to meet with staff and the Elder Advisory Council for their input on how to best utilize the gift. Just a few ideas that have been mentioned are a planned outing for elders, a coordination with the Boys & Girls Club and Project Ventures for a “Serve Your Elder Day,” and to assist with the start up of a social activity at the New Post Community Center. Chi Miigwech to the Sevenwinds Casino from staff at the LCO Aging & Disability Services Department for the generous gift towards meeting the needs of the elder and disabled in our community."
