LCO Child Support Launches New Website; A Major Milestone Helping Tribal Families

The Lac Courte Oreilles Child Support Program located on the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Reservation in Hayward, WI is pleased to announce the launch of their new website, making it easier and more accessible for families to receive information about their child support case and child support services.

LCO Child Support Program works to enforce children’s rights for support from both parents with an overall goal of raising the standard of living for children involved in their case structure.

New Website Offers Information and Resources

The website marks a transition into the digital age, providing increased awareness of child support services and obtaining child support information without the need for having to travel to the child support office. The site also provides families with easier access to securely obtaining information about their specific case from anywhere they can connect to the internet.

Program Participants can now obtain some of their Case Information Online

One of the core benefits of the new website is the ability for case participants to view payment information of their own case(s) online. Participants can also utilize the new website to seek out additional resources for support and assistance, as well as to schedule appointments with their Child Support Specialist.

Future Developments and Improvements Already Underway

In addition to the new website, LCO Child Support has additional digital resources for case participants planned. By 2020, LCO Child Support plans to launch a mobile app that will allow parents to conduct appointments and meetings remotely (a major advantage for those with

transportation issues), additional two way communication means and updated Social Media platforms.
