I sincerely believe 2024 will be a watershed year for intelligence and investing unlike anything we’ve ever experienced…
Anyone who reads my Facebook posts knows that I am a pit bull on research, learning, and the necessity for life transformation. I will study 4 to 6 hours a day and some days—all day—just because I am astounded in what it takes to stay on top of my game competitively.
I am sharing this because with the advent of this new year— I am believing we are on the cusp of the world’s greatest transformational paradigm shift in learning, intelligence gathering, investing, and how we live.
2024 is going to be a transformational watershed year for everyone.
I personally have installed ChatGPT on my computers and within the last 2 months I have started to invest using AI BOT’s. My nephew Ricky St. Germaine who has just received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Minnesota where he did his doctoral studies on Artificial Intelligence has become a AI BOT guru. Ricky’s work is so groundbreaking that he also just received a U.S. Patent on his research and investing Artificial Intelligence BOT that is getting greater returns than anything that I ever invested in or created!
The quote: “If you always did what you always did—you will always get what you always got” is no longer true.
“What you always got”—may now be—“What will be the end of you!”
Hanging on to the good Ol’ Days is no longer even a thought. Even thinking “Why do things have to change and why can’t we just let things be as is”—maybe a quick end to life as you know it.
I am believing we are now living in a world that is changing so fast—as parents and our schools, we are going to have a shear herculean task just to keep up with what we’re able to teach & how we’re going to teach our children because almost everything we know is no longer current but ancient history. A person’s career may now be obsolete overnight! We don’t even know if the cash money we have stashed away and hidden stuffed in mattresses will be worth anything in the next few years!
Folks don't kid yourself about "if this is really happening"–it is and its happening right before our eyes. Don't put your head in the sand about the reality of Artificial Intelligence. I do think there needs to be another terminology for "Artificial" because it is a serious real force of thought on steroids.
Right now money is fast becoming obsolete. There are stores and businesses that will not accept cash. Even credit cards are changing where all you have to do is wave them in front of a reader and our bill is paid.
Soon all we’ll have to do is look into an eyeball reader & blink and our bill will be paid!
November 30, 2022—the company Open AI launched ChatGPT putting Artificial Intelligence into the hands of everyone. 2023 was the year when Artificial Intelligence access really started getting used by the average everyday person and now with everyone figuring out how to use this learning artificial intelligence things now are going to start ramping up like crazy!
I did read a funny thought on all this AI stuff recently–"Why do we need to figure out Artificial Intelligence when we haven't been able to fix Real Stupidity!"
Much like SEO Search Engine Spiders the new AI BOTS are extremely instant in seeking whatever they are tasked to do traveling in a world of nanosecond speed. But unlike the SEO Search Engine Spiders which basically identified information—AI BOTS are analyzing information and are able to be tasked to do something with this information.
Artificial Intelligence is fueled by streams of Algorithm equations and the reason they work is because if you get your equation right—its all math and math is always correct. Hmmm… no wonder I’ve had a tough time in life because I was never good in math!
The ChatGPT released by OpenAI requires an estimated 21 septillion operations and these operations flow through neural brains that calculate in nanosecond speed. A “septillion” is a 1 followed by 24 zeros. There are 1000 billions in a trillion and a trillion only is a 1 followed by 12 zeros! SO 21 SEPTILLIONS IS REALLY FAST—so fast its hard for us to even comprehend.
AI BOTS will be revolutionizing the way people live, learn, purchase, and invest.
THE ADVENT OF CRYPTOCURRENCY
Cryptocurrency (crypto) came out in 2009 and as of 2023 there are over 25,000 forms of cryptocurrency. What cryptocurrency is to money is what trading anything of value to another–like the old merchants and buyers would barter for goods & services without any banks or government oversight but more importantly there were no paper trails to tax these transactions.
OF COURSE—“The Government” doesn’t like this and is working to figure out ways to regulate crypto and eventually figure out how to tax these transactions but let’s not be ignorant of the fact, that we are on the forefront of a whole new horizon of “Value Exchange.”
MARK ZUCKERBERG’S METAVERSE
You may have heard Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook has been promoting the METAVERSE which is like the internet but in a 3D World or a “Virtual Reality” where people will be able to connect with friends, create, play games, work and shop. Its like a “Parallel Universe” of "what’s real" matched by a twin 3D world that isn’t real but looks absolutely real.
You can put on a 3D Virtual Reality headset and travel the world like you’re actually there. You can float down a Venice waterway in a gondola or you can look out over Paris from the Eiffel Tower or walk-through London’s Westminster Abbey! It is Zuckerberg’s vision that someday we’ll be able to virtually walk down a grocery store aisle and 3D visually see what we’d like to buy and then robots would deliver our purchases to our homes.
The problem with this is that you have to access this parallel world by using a headset called an Oculus Quest VR Headset that looks like big dragonfly eyes. And Mark Zuckerberg believes we're about 5 to 10 years away for this Metaverse world of being fully functional and from everyone being able to have access to these headsets. Current headsets are also heavy on the head.
ELON MUSK’S NEURALINK
Competition has always driven human advancement and artificial intelligence is no different. Elon Musk has already declared Zuckerberg’s Metaverse to be old news and Elon’s Neuralink will be mankind’s next greatest achievement for everything including how we learn, work, play, invest—but the biggest breakthrough will be healing!
Neuralink is a brain computer interface that will transmit neural signals and is fully implantable into your brain, cosmetically invisible that lets you control a computer or a mobile device from anywhere. Basically Elon Musk’s Neuralink chip implanted in your brain will merge your brain with AI and you will have your own “hotspot” or Bluetooth in your head—WOW!!!
Right now Elon’s technology is so advanced that Elon’s hope is that these Neuralink microchips will be able to treat paralysis and blindness but the biggest opportunities will be to enable disabled people to use computers and mobile technology like smart cars to get around.
FASCINATING TIMES
Folks we are truly living in amazing times. I shared my thoughts for this New Year 2024 for the sole reason that with the incredible accelerated growth of Artificial Intelligence—we can’t ever forget what makes us human—our ability to love, have hope, dream or the greatest is to have faith. No matter how sophisticated Artificial Intelligence will ever become—it will never have a soul, a spirit, or be capable of true love. Artificial Intelligence will never have the gratification knowing there is an Almighty God that loves us. The ability to have "Faith" is what makes us human. Faith is the cornerstone to Love.
Love is something that doesn’t need Neural Networks to travel God’s Great Universe. How often have you dialed a loved one on your phone only to have them answer—"I was just going to call you!”
Nor will Artificial Intelligence ever be able to forgive because this is so necessary to how us humans have to deal with each other.
People who have cheerfulness, a positive spirit, and love in their hearts—have an aura that is an energy field immediately felt by others including our animal friends. Artificial Intelligence will never have this spirit energy.
I have always tried to use my Facebook Posts to inspire and hopefully give you something to think about but more than anything—to give you hope that there is always a better future ahead through God's Love.
