College to Offer Behavioral Health Services

Submitted by LCO Ojibwa Community College

LCO Behavioral Health Services will begin offering mental health and substance abuse services at Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College this fall. Dr. Tammy Bergum, Director at LCO Behavioral Health Services, made the announcement on August 20th, at a college all-staff and faculty meeting. Counselors will work cooperatively with us to assist both students and employees.

“Our college has needed mental health and substance abuse experts to help us address needs of students and employees. Unfortunately, many years passed by where those services were not available. As you can imagine, many people suffered the effects of their illness because they were unable to seek help” shared Dr. Russell Swagger, President of Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College.

The Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College Board of Regents, Administration, Faculty, Staff, and Students wish to extend a very grateful thank you to Dr. Tammy Bergum, her team at LCO Behavioral Health, and the LCOOCC team Ms. Karen Breit and Dr. Odawa White.
