The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics established National Nutrition Month as an education and information campaign. This year’s theme inspires us to look “Beyond the Table” while thinking about health and our community. The Lac Courte Oreilles Community Health Center is participating by hosting a Friendly Food Drive Competition among staff. Teams are being formed with a goal of winning the competition by donating the most food! All donations will go to The Free Store.
The community is welcome to participate in this challenge by bringing any nonperishable, unexpired food items to collection bins located at either clinic reception area from March 4-29. Facial tissues and toilet paper are also welcome.
