The Annual LCO Veteran’s Day Powwow will be held at the LCO Ojibwe School Gymnasium on Friday, Nov. 11, with Grand Entries at 1 pm and 7 pm and a feast at 5 pm.
The annual event, sponsored by the LCO Tribe, the LCO Ojibwe School and AmVets Post 1998, makes its return to the Theresa Williams Gymnasium after being held at the Sevenwinds Casino Convention Center in 2021 and being virtual due to Covid in 2020.
At 3 pm, Wayne Balsavich will be honored as Veteran of the Year.
The event will be live on WOJB and the host drums include Soldier Drum and Pipestone Creek.
