In the latest WisDOT update regarding the County Hwy E Bridge over the Couderay River between Whitefish and Reserve on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, they expect the bridge to be complete and opened to traffic by Nov. 10th, five days earlier than previously predicted.
Over the past week, the deck of the bridge has been completed and the bridge rail has been installed. Both sides of the bridge structure has had their backfill and have been graded.
Both sides will still need to be fine graded and then asphalt paving will begin. Prior to completion on Nov. 10th, guardrails will be placed and painted.
Grading work took place on the east side of the bridge.
