The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board is pleased to announce to you, our Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Band Members that the U.S. Department of the Treasury today informed us that they have disbursed our Tribe's allocation of American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act Funds to our financial institution.
We will be meeting this week to discuss the ways we will use the funds to address our tribal members' needs. There are many needs our Tribe has and many decisions to be made. Our Tribe is growing, and we need to make sure the funds are spent appropriately.
We are working hard, with very busy days, and different schedules. We will keep you updated as often as possible. We will be discussing different ways on how to get tribal member input, while following safety guidelines during this pandemic. A survey willbe forthcoming to tribal membersfor your input.
