The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board stated on Monday, Jan. 30, they are in discussions to address the ice build-up and hazardous conditions of Trepania Road on the Reservation, following a head-on collision occurring that morning in front of the LCO Ojibwe University.
Several area residents posted on Facebook their concern over the rough condition of the road as well, one posting a picture of some front end damage they had also suffered because of the road.
LCO Police are asking that in the meantime, please drive slowly through Trepania Road, and other icy roads as well.
