Students need your vote on Space Flight Mission button design contest

On January 21st of this year, we announced that a team of students from LCO Ojibwe School would have their Student Spaceflight Experiments Program project fly onboard the SSEP Mission 14 to the International Space Station in November. The LCO project, “Fish Egg Development in Space” was by 7th graders Evan Heath, Kane LaRonge, and Thomas White.

Now, according to LCO School Director Jessica “Hutch” Hutchison, LCO and Waadookodaading conducted mission patch design contests for grades K-4 and 5-12. The patches designed by Amillia Roberston and Preston Sullivan will fly with the mission 14 project.

“Please vote for their designs to be considered for one of the two OFFICIAL mission patches for the mission 14 payload. Both designs are listed under Hayward, WI as the location in this link. Voting takes less than a minute. Please, please vote and share this with as many people as you can,” stated Hutch.
