A plan is in place to convert the current event center at the Big Fish Golf Course into a full service bar with a new top of the line golf simulator so course members and the general public can get their golf fix all year round.

The new bar will also feature pool, darts, big screen TV’s, Touch Tunes juke box and other entertainment, as well as the full event center available for bookings.

“We’re excited for this new addition to Big Fish,” stated Will LaPoint, general manager of the course. “This new golf simulator will by far be one of the best in our region with over 160 courses to choose from, and it comes with a full moving floor that moves with your lies as they appear on the screen.”

LaPointe said renovation of the bar area in the clubhouse is currently underway and they hope to have the new bar open around Feb. 15.

LaPointe said they will have a full service menu available as well with Philly Cheesesteaks, brats and dogs and pizzas.

“We’ll have normal operating bar hours from Wednesday through Saturday, but, we’ll be available outside those hours for bookings of the golf simulator,” LaPointe said.

A contest is underway for naming the new Big Fish Golf Course bar. The winner will win earn two hours of simulator time and a $25 gift card to the course.
