With Treaty Day taking place on Monday, Jan. 27, Seventh Grade students from the LCO Ojibwe School traveled to the Hayward Intermediate School to share their knowledge about treaties.
The school's Facebook page states,"Mrs Burnette’s 7th grade social studies students presented information to 4th graders at the Hayward Intermediate School about important treaties and treaty rights of Lac Courte Oreilles. Miigwech to these students for being ambassadors of such valuable knowledge & to the Hayward Community School District for welcoming this opportunity!"
