The Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School is thrilled to welcome Officer Susie Taylor as the newly appointed School Resource Officer. The LCO Police Department, with the support of the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board have recognized the need to foster healthy relationships between students and law enforcement while assuring student and staff safety. The School Resource Officer position provides needed security for the ever-growing campus of more than 500 students and staff. Susie will be working with staff to support a positive and safe school climate with the goals of truancy and AODA prevention being high priorities.
