Emergency COVID-19 Protection Plan
The President of Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College has directed the College’s COVID-19 Emergency response and operations as follows. This plan is aligned with state and tribal governments timeline to support students, faculty, staff with children in K-12. Beginning March 17th and continuing through April 6th at which time we will reassess our plans and readjust as necessary.
Students will learn from home/remotely.
Only essential staff will work onsite, all other staff and faculty will work from home.
The library will be closed.
Official communication will come from the President ONLY.
Labs will be delivered in person on campus with students and faculty required to wear protective masks & gloves provided by the college.
The college will do its best to accommodate students/staff with laptops for those who do not have access to one. You may check these out through the Information Technology department.
Courses will be delivered online, Zoom & paper packets. If you are a student and you do not have Internet access, you may request paper packets from your instructor or you can access the colleges Internet by sitting in the college parking lot in your vehicle and enter your username and password to connect.
Support Services will continue via phone/email.
Prior to April 6th the President will reassess closure and update communication.
