LCO Tribal Member Brian Kingfisher was recently featured in WDSE TV's Native Report discussing the teaching of the Ojibwe Language. Kingfisher is an Ojibwe Language instructor in Duluth at the College of St. Scholastica. Also featured in the following video are some images from the LCO Reservation provided by tribal members.
Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians tribal member Brian Kingfisher teaches the Ojibwe language at The College of St. Scholastica, and we interviewed him before the COVID-19 shut down back in March of 2020. Brian shares about the importance of preserving the Ojibwe language.
