In mid-August, the LCO Boys & Girls Club Little League Team traveled to Glen Flora to participate in an invitational tournament with three other teams which included Glen Flora, Flambeau and Gilman.
The tournament first round was round-robin style with each team playing each other and then being paired for Sunday's games. In the first round, LCO beat Gilman 5-3, then tied Glen Flora 5-5, and went on to defeat Flambeau 14-6.
LCO was just warming up because returning to Glen Flora on Sunday, LCO came to play whipping Flambeau in the semi-final 22 to 7 advancing to play Glen Flora in the championship which they easily took 17 to 9.
Congratulations LCO Little Leaguers on an awesome season winning the Southern Sawyer County Championship and the Glen Flora Invitational Tournament.
