We here at the LCO Community Health Center understand our Tribal families can be extremely busy trying to juggle their schedules, with children, work, family matters. Sometimes we overlook our own health until a major health issue sidelines us and we need to be seen and then throwing COVID on top of the mix, made it even more difficult to get the health care we need.
The staff at the LCO Community Health Center would like to announce we are taking steps to make it easier for individuals to get the needed health care they have been missing in the last two years.
The Health Center is announcing its new hours. The Health Center will be open from 7:15 am to 5:00 pm starting May 2, 2022. With the addition of these new hours we are opening appointment times for individuals who may have a difficult time getting out of work, or who need to bring a child in before school.
With the outbreak of COVID the Health Center had to limit the number of patients we could see in the Health Center, utilizing Telehealth to attend to our patients and now that we are moving forward we want to return to seeing our patients face to face.
If it’s been a while since you were seen, if you are diabetic, have high blood pressure, we encourage our patients to contact us and set up a visit with a primary care physician for a wellness check. We now have 5 full time providers at the Health Center who are excited to care for our community.
