Dr. Steve Miszkiewicz gave a report to tribal leadership on Friday morning that there were eight tests given out and zero were positive with Covid. The previous day also reported zero positives, which he said was a milestone for the pandemic.
“That being said, we will begin ramping down our testing program and, as stated last week, begin promoting preventive care,” stated Dr. Steve.
The LCO Health Center’s Chief Medical Doctor also wanted to remind the community that March is colorectal screening month and if you have friends, relatives, or yourself who have been putting this off, now is the time to get screened.
