Following the 2nd dose vaccination of Hayward School staff on Friday, March 26, by the LCO Community Health Center, sharing extra Covid vaccines, Hayward Superintendent Craig Olson sent the following letter to the Tribe to thank them.
I hope this letter finds you and your families safe and healthy. The purpose of my correspondence is to express my sincere gratitude for your willingness to provide the COVID-19 vaccination clinic on March 5th 2021 in the Hayward High School Gymnasium. This gesture went above and beyond the call of duty. Providing the Hayward Community School District this opportunity is another positive step in keeping all of our students in school and as safe as possible.
