Despite a huge early voter turnout in our area, a very important Presidential Election will take place on Tuesday, November 3, whereby voters will vote for Donald Trump, Joe Biden and a handful of third party candidates. According to a recent poll on the Lac Courte Oreilles Today Facebook Group which asked if you voted, results show that two-thirds have already voted.

Also on the ballot will be a race for the 7th Congressional District vacated last year by Hayward native, Sean Duffy. The seat was won by Tom Tiffany in a special election back in May when the republican defeated Tricia Zunker, a Ho Chunk Tribal Member from Wausau. The two will face off again in the general election on Tuesday.

Lac Courte Oreilles’ representation to the Wisconsin Assembly has incumbent, James “Jimmy Boy” Edming, a republican, facing challenger Richard Pulcher, a democrat from Glen Flora.

All early voting is now complete and anyone choosing to vote must now vote in person on Election Day.
