Boys and Girls Club Receives NIGA Chairman's Leadership Award

The Boys and Girls Club of Lac Courte Oreilles recieved the Chairman's Leadership Award at the Native Summit.

Club Director Heather Peterson made the announcement on their Facebook page.

"What an honor and complete surprise! Myself and good friend Mr. Ron Corn from the Menominee Boys and Girls Club were awarded these this morning at the Native Summit from Mr. Ernie Stevens Jr. I am so grateful for all the amazing people I am surrounded by! I am truly blessed to get to do what I love everyday!"
