The Wisconsin State Department of Transportation provided another update this week on the County Hwy E Bridge over the Couderay River between Whitefish and Reserve on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation that is currently out and being replaced.
The new bridge, which is scheduled to be completed by November 15th of this year, now has beams placed as riprap was placed in front of the abutement bodies on both sides. All this week iron workers will be on site to tie deck steel which the deck pour will be done on Thursday, Oct. 14.
Local traffic continues to be rerouted through Thoroughfare Road from Whitefish to North Reserve.
