The 2020 LCO Motorcycle Cancer Fundraiser ride was amazing! We were able to raise nearly $3000 to help current cancer patients with gas money to get to chemo/radiation appts. Dr. visits or surgeries! There were many that volunteered and rode with us that are either cancer survivors or - currently going thru treatments themselves.
I would like to personally thank all those that rode with us in addition to all the volunteers that helped make this ride a success and we could not have asked for better weather!!! Thanks to Sr. Felissa and Father Greg for the wonderful prayer and use of the school and parking lot for registration. Thanks to Dianne Sullivan, Rhonda Raines, Char Lynk, Diane Chambers, Wanda LaBarge and Tibissum Rice for selling the shirts and 50/50 raffles! Thanks to Road Captains Everett & Melissa, Sherry, Barb & Dan, Rick and Coordinator Ernie for doing a great job blocking traffic to ensure a safe ride! Thanks to the LCO-IGA for the donation of water and ice and thanks to Reone Gheen for collecting the nice gift certificates for the raffles! And last - but certainly not least, would like to thank the Lac Courte Oreilles Police Department and the City of Hayward Police Officer for blocking the busy stop-light intersections for safe passage! Again - super thanks to everyone and we look forward to seeing you all next year so save the date: JULY 10, 2021!!!
Also, I have been asked if people that could not be part of the MC Ride could still donate to the Cancer Fundraiser. The answer is ABSOLUTELY! Just contact me on FB/messenger or call 715-638-5107 as we will continue to accept cash or check donations! Thanks!!!
